Signup Contest Rules

The Florida Public Transportation Association (FloridaTransit.org) and IM4Transit.org invite you to sign up as many of your friends, family, and co-workers as possible. When you sign up a minimum of 50 verified people (A max of 1 valid email address and 1 internet address per sign up), you get a $25 Publix gift card.

Eligibility, entry period and instructions, judging criteria, prize details and winner selection and notification procedures are detailed below. BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO ALL OF THE RULES OF THIS CONTEST AND TO ALL OF THE LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED BELOW.

ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to all residents of Florida. (Minors must submit an affidavit from legal guardians before being awarded any prizes). Employees of the Florida Public Transportation Association nor of its member agencies are eligible for prizes. This contest is void outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited by law.

ENTRY PERIOD

The contest begins October 1, 2011 and ends June 30, 2012 4pm EST. All entries must be received within this time period in order to be considered for prizes. IM4Transit.org reserves the right to modify the deadline for submissions due to circumstances beyond its control, and to amend the contest rules at any time if deemed necessary by IM4Transit.

ENTRY RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS

Sign up for the contest by providing your name, email, and zip at the following url: http://im4transit.org/signupcontest.html. The page also includes a url to track how many people you have signed up, at any time (http://im4transit.org/tracking.php)
To have a sign up designated as "verified unique", the sign up must have a unique email address, a unique name, and a unique internet IP address. Only one sign up per email address and/or IP address is counted.
When you have signed up a total of at least 50 "verified unique" transit supporters, you will be eligible to receive a $25 Publix gift card.
The first 100 people to recruit 50 "verified unique" sign ups win a gift card. Whoever has the most "verified unique" signups on June 30th wins an iPad 2.
You are only eligible to win one gift card.

By entering, you warrant that the transit supporters you sign up have agreed to be contacted via email by IM4Transit.org and/or FloridaTransit.org. You further warrant that your participation in this contest does not violate any agreement between you and a third party.

By entering the contest, you grant IM4Transit.org the non-exclusive right to publish, use, distribute, reproduce and publicly display your entry, and to create derivative works from your entry, in perpetuity, in any of its on-line, print or other media publications, materials or exhibitions, for purposes of promoting the IM4Transit.org’s mission and awareness of its program, including but not limited to for editorial, advertising, publicity, and fundraising purposes, without payment of compensation unless prohibited by law. You grant us permission to provide your name, and your city and state of residence, when publishing, reproducing or otherwise using your entry and when identifying you as an entrant or prize winner in the contest. While the Florida Public Transportation Association will make every effort to credit entrants when using entries, there may be circumstances where it is not possible to do so. Subject to the rights granted to us, you retain all other copyrights and rights to future use of the entries you enter into the contest.

IM4Transit.org reserves the right to disqualify an entry if it finds, in its sole discretion, that an entrant has not secured a necessary release or has violated any privacy or copyright laws.

PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION & PRIZES

The prize is a $25 Publix gift card when a minimum of 50 "verified unique" transit supporters have been recruited. The person with the most "verified unique" sign ups on June 30th wins an iPad 2.

On or about July 15, 2011, we shall notify prizewinners. Notification shall be by e-mail and/or telephone. If IM4Transit.org is unable to contact a potential winner, does not receive an acknowledgment of receipt from a potential winner within ten (10) days, or if the notification is returned as undeliverable, we have the option to disqualify such potential winner and select an alternate winner.

Prize winners will be required to execute and return to IM4Transit.org an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form ("Affidavit and Release") within ten (10) days of notification of selection as a prize winner.
