42" HDTV Contest Rules
BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO ALL OF THE RULES OF THIS CONTEST AND TO ALL OF THE LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED BELOW. ELIGIBILITY While people everywhere are urged to sign on in supporting transit, the monthly drawings are open to all residents of Florida. (Minors must submit an affidavit from legal guardians before being awarded any prizes). Employees of the Florida Public Transportation Association nor its PR firm are eligible for prizes. Employees of member agencies ARE eligible for prizes. This contest is void outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited by law. ENTRY PERIOD The contest begins October 15, 2011 and ends June 30, 2012 4pm EST. Everyone who fills out the Join form on www.im4transit.org will be placed in a database of names. All entries must be received within this time period in order to be considered for prizes. ENTRY RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS
PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION & PRIZES The prize is a 42" HDTV. As an alternative, winners may chose to have a $500 check (full cash value of the HDTV) sent to them instead. Winners are encouraged to accept the $500 check and buy a 42” HDTV or anything else that they would like to do with the cash. If the winner wants FPTA to purchase the HDTV, the FPTA may purchase the HDTV from any vendor such as Walmart.com where the winner may be required to pick up the HDTV at whichever Walmart store that they deem most convenient. Within 48 hours of every drawing, prize winners will be contacted via email. Prize winners will be required to execute and return to IM4Transit.org an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form ("Affidavit and Release") within ten (10) days of notification of selection as a prize winner. The FPTA asks each winner’s help in publicizing the program and may be asked to attend a media event, news conference, etc. LEGAL TERMS & CONDITIONS This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. ![]()
